Every time I see you
My words get twisted
I can’t speak
Can’t feel
Can’t look
Can’t move
Without stumbling

I say the wrong things
To the wrong people
At the wrong times

Every time you see me
I am at my worst
It’s never a good day
There is always something

But you, you are perfect
You never stumble
Well you do
But I never see it
Or never notice
How stupid!

What a mess I am
With my worst foot forward
