Lost in this world of hate
Can’t find a heart to relate

Beautiful dream,
Left in the darkness of night
Hidden from morning’s light

Beautiful you,
You wish they could see it
The place where you leave it

The magic oasis where
Hidden love heals all but
Hate’s deepest wounds

The wounds that they gave you
The person they made you
The peace and the passion they stole

All tucked away
In the once quiet place
Where the stories of your love
Are now told

Hello, dare I say,
I will love you forever
And a day,
Even though you don’t know me.

Call it love at first sight,
I know it isn’t right,
But I believe you’d be happy
With me.

As my lips start to sing,
My heart feels the sting,
Of the thorn
That is hidden with this rose.

I know it shouldn’t be,
But if it were up to me,
I’d still like to see where
This goes.

But I won’t let it show,
Since it’s so hard to know,
Whether you
Feel like I do

So I’ll sit in this chair,
And I’ll try not to stare,
And reveal that I’ve fallen
For you.
