Words are a trail left for lost lovers
Those wandering souls, searching in their grief

Words are a trail that will lead you
Along the hidden path that leads to meaning

Look past your idealistic dream
Look past what looks great but isn’t

Look past what you think you can see
To the truth, beyond your immediate vision

Straight ahead, far off in the distance
There is a nothingness that you can gaze at, but not see

Beyond the mirage, beyond your fears and delusions
There is reality, truth, and a destination of peace

Look beyond the mirage, beyond the picture
That looks too good to be true

Don’t be afraid to look to where you can’t see clearly
As it is better to find real disappointment

Than to settle for false happiness
